There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to digital transformation. Connect to our reliable, secure and scalable national network of data centres and cloud platforms to help you transform at your own pace.
As the UK’s hybrid cloud specialists, we will ensure your business-critical applications remain secure, compliant and resilient, so you can focus on reaching your digital potential and accelerating growth.
Moving your equipment into our data centres – we address the costly supporting infrastructure: building environment, power, cooling, connectivity, and physical security, whilst you can benefit from a range of data centre services to enhance your business.
We appreciate that maintaining high levels of uptime is essential: in business-critical or customer-facing IT systems any downtime will result in loss of business and reputation. That’s why we have multiple levels of equipment redundancy to maintain a functioning data centre environment even in the face of major disruptions to IT operations such as power outages.
Every Pulsant data centre is designed from the ground up to be secure and reliable.
We recognise that you want your own engineers to have access to your servers, so we have data centres across the UK, allowing you to choose a location that is convenient for you. Your equipment will always be available to your engineers, subject to the access protocols of our data centre security.
Our expert data centre engineers are available and can perform many routine or emergency tasks for you. We call this “remote hands”, where our engineers act on your behalf.
Our data centres offer a high level of physical security for your systems. With multiple levels of access control, internal and external CCTV, on-site staff, perimeter fencing, escorted visitors, you can be sure that your servers are well protected. Pulsant’s ISO 27001 accreditation for IT security covers all of our data centre facilities.
Where you have heightened security needs, we can provide secure cages to isolate your racks or even dedicated private rooms with their own secure access controls.
We work with our customers as an extension of their team, implementing secure, innovative and creative IT solutions to deliver performance.

“We have a four-hour SLA with Pulsant, but with each test we’ve carried out our staff has been able to get to the site, log on to their systems and begin work in under an hour. The staff at the site are unbelievable — so accommodating, helpful and considerate”
Sheila Hughes, Head of Quality

“Pulsant could do everything we asked for, whether we invoked on a weekday or weekend, and they continue to deliver an exceptional and receptive service. They are definitely a company I would recommend to other businesses”

Your servers will be safe in one of our data centres. We take the safety of our customers’ infrastructure seriously. We have the highest levels of physical security in our enterprise data centres, with access control, and 24/7 manned and monitored security.
In addition to holding a Royal Warrant as a provider of hosted IT and data centre services to the Royal Household, all of our data centres are ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) accredited. All sites also conform to the European Data Centre Code of Code. Eight data centres are also PCI-DSS accredited.
Our data centres are staffed 24/7/365 to ensure there is always someone on hand to assist you, whether you need to visit the site yourself for maintenance or request help from our engineers for an additional remote hands service.
While each data centre has different power configurations, there is built-in resilience with diverse power supplies, on-site substations, transformers, UPS and generator power. Regardless of data centre, this ensures a constant power supply and little risk of unplanned downtime due to outages.
There is ample parking at our data centre sites, as well as essential facilities such as kitchens and restrooms. Depending on location we also offer dedicated office suites, meeting rooms and build facilities to meet your needs.
