  • Workplace Recovery FAQs

What is provided as standard as part of your workplace recovery service?

We offer the following as standard: • 10 Mbps bandwidth, although more can be purchased at an additional cost • VoIP telephony with the functionality to accommodate non-geographic number (NGN) redirection to (DDI), and basic (ACD) functionality • A 150-metre exclusion zone • One test day per annum for business continuity rehearsal tests • A four-hour SLA on invocation • One PC image capture and storage

How quickly would your recovery site be available to us after receiving our call to invoke?

Disasters can strike at any point without warning, which is why our Workplace Recovery service (WPR) can be invoked at any time, and on a 24/7/365 basis. Our SLA for invocation is just four hours, ensuring that disruption to business operations is minimised as far as possible.

Will your service link to our telephony systems?

Yes. Our telephony system allows us to build basic automatic call distributor (ACD) so we can give you a full direct dial-in (DDI) to redirect calls into our platform.

What are your current syndication ratio and customer spread?

We operate our service as standard on a syndicated model, whereby customers share each reserved seat. Our maximum syndication ratio is 20:1, although we usually operate at lower ratios than this. Our geographical separation is a minimum of 150 metres so we will not contract with any other customers within 150 metres of your location.

How does your workplace recovery centre connect to our network?

We have a number of options available, depending on what’s the best match for your needs. These include a VPN tunnel, private network or Citrix/RDP.
